Breitling Oceania Director, Mathieu Brunisholz, knows more than a little about corporate image, having been the man behind the creation of the Swiss watchmaker’s worldwide network of boutique outlets.  Their watches are sturdy, reliable, high performance instruments... and sexy.  When Breitling decided to manage their Oceania distribution directly they needed an office space in Sydney to match.

That Mathieu is delighted with their recently established Oceania head office, speaks volumes for the project and the PCG business model.  Having been referred to PCG, he did not bother to speak with any other company after our first meeting convinced him that we could handle the entire project, from the provision of tenant representation all the way through to the office design and project management of the new workplace and service facility.

“We selected one, and PCG managed the lease negotiations and then we finalised the lease and worked on the design,” Mathieu said. The design was approved at the end of October and the keys were handed over at the end of January. “I was surprised how quick it was. Given the tight program, I had not expected them to be on time, yet they were, I was very impressed. Key to the speed was PCG’s research and understanding of our design brief”.

“PCG understood very clearly what we wanted to do so it was quite easy. The first design did not require many modifications and that was a very good surprise. It looks like a boutique. It’s cool, fresh and modern but has a nostalgic ambience. It’s also convenient, easy to work and easy to clean. It’s a great place.” Mathieu said that "PCG’s excellent communications made ‘remote control’ of the project very easy."

We think this is our sexiest office design project yet... but are happy to be proved wrong!
